I think one of the reasons that you havent gotten an instant reply is that most new players introduce themselves and ask questions about the server in the Ren Discussion thread, which is the generic thread for most topics ( http://uorforum.com/forums/renaissance-discussion.6/ ). Second is that your topic here says New Player Guild, but you dont actually ask about a guild or anything, but rather about PvP on the server. This might confuse our brains, and we have a thread specifically for PvP as well ( http://uorforum.com/forums/pvp-discussion.73/ ). But to answer your question: it depends on what what kind of PvP you are looking for. There are factions, but they are not active and there is a lot of bitterness, I guess the word is, surrounding them. We have organized PvP in the way of Friday Night Fights and Capture the Flag events. We have Order/Chaos PvP. We have open world PvP in the form of the red squads and their counterparts.
