Nox Mage?

I remember reading somewhere that Renaissance was the time when Nox Mages were first possible. I was wondering if anyone can verify this, and, should it be true, if it working on the shard? I would like to know before spending all that time leveling the poisoning skill.

Yes it is viable, dp has a % chance to land within 2 tiles and it is fairly difficult to cure.

Thank you. I feel this may be a better choice than say tailoring or alchemy for a mage. It actually improves his magic's effectiveness
