I was thinking it would be cool if carpenters could make stuff with Oak wood that retained the hue of the Oak wood? In addition I thought it would be cool if Carpenters could make Oak instruments that were obviously more effective for barding than their regular wood counterparts. Example Ancient Wyrm Barding Difficulty: 145 regular Instrument 130 GM Made Instrument/Regular Oak Made Instrument 125 GM Made Oak Instrument 116 Slayer Instrument The details might be adjusted, but the concept remains the same. Oak Instruments are slightly better than normal. Moreover it would be cool if there was one or two other types of wood available. Even rarer than Oak. Rosewood Maple Wood Cedar Wood Just a few ideas to throw out there
Perhaps oak could also be used to make other types of furniture such as a chest of drawers or dresser.
