The frequent travelers who use Nujel'm as their home city have come together and formed a government. The public duties of Nujel'm are broken down into Ministries and are looked after by Ministers appointed by the Mayor of the City. 1. The City Mayor who receives 75,000.00gp for his public services Ministries currently in operation are as follows; (more to come soon.) 2. The Ministry of Defense (Sturm) 3. The Ministry of Finance 3. The Ministry of Labour Each minister retains a salary of $50,000.00gp a month. Other paid public positions of office are; 3. The Captain Of The Guard (45,000.00gp) 4. The Governor Of The Central Bank (30,000.00gp) 4. Trade Union Leader (30,000.00gp) 1. City Guards (10,000.00gp) With other paid positions coming as the community grows. Merchants and Citizens are also welcome, maybe new players who need a hand getting a foothold in the world, people to spar with to raise skills. Maybe join the city guard and retain 10,000.00gp a month, a suit of armour and a weapon, not a bad deal. Currently only The Minister of Defense position and a few city guard positions have been filled, anyone interested in applying for a position of public office please feel free to message me. The position of Mayor will be decided by membership as we grow. The city guard will conduct dungeon raids to fund government spending and salaries, more successful the raids the more salaries and government positions will increase. We do try to RP but we can find room for almost anyone.
I volunteer as minister of finance or governor of the central bank. I already spend a significant portion of my time in and around banks, so Im a natural fit. Qualifications 1. I have a natural ability to raise money while in town. 2. I frequently am able to secure donations of gold, regs, weapons, wands, and BoDs from other players. 3. I am persistent, as any of those with whom I've done business can attest. 4. I cannot be bought, as I believe in redistributing wealth from everyone equally. 5. I am patient, as I am quite willing to wait for several hours for an opportunity to do business. I realize there are probably many applicants, but it is my hope that I can steal your heart with my grace and charm. I look forward to your response.
