    • Automated Event System - Phase 1
      • Automated Event Management
        • Created the framework of a system to manage all automated events on UO Renaissance.
        • Created a system to allow each event its own management system from a single interface.
        • Created a singular system of event functions allowing the for the rapid creation of automated events.
        • Created a master automation system for each event allowing for easy event initialization and scheduling.
        • Designed a master system for event logging allowing for event results to be sent from any event into the AES system resulting in it being displayed on the my.uorenaissance.com website.
        • Designed the initial framework of a system that will allow for linking of event trophies to that specific event results page on the website.
          This will be fully implemented in phase 2
        • Designed a master system of death management during events to return a players items to their packs in the exact location that they were before they died.
        • Designed a master system for event rewards that can be adjusted ingame via this system
      • Event Signups
        • When indicated players will need to report to the Chamber of Virtues in Britain order to sign up for automated events.
        • There will be a secondary event sign up locations added soon.
        • Players will be able to sign up for combat tournaments here or in the Delucia Barracks Event Arena.
        • For Tournaments players will be able to sign up, and resume their gameplay activities for the duration of the sign up period.
        • 1 Minute before the event beings you will be pulled to the event area.
        • For CTF Games once you sign up you will be pulled to the CTF game lobby. You may leave the lobby, however it will remove you from the event.
          A stablemaster and banker will be provided in the lobby allowing for event preparation.
        • Upon the completion of any event players will be removed from the protected zones and returned to the Britain Chamber of Virtues.
        • If you are a red player you will be sent (hidden) to a random location on Buc's Den Island.
          Currently Participation by Red players has only been tested for CTF events. Testing of Red Players in Tournaments is ongoing.

      • Automated Combat Tournaments
        • Created a 4 match tournament arena located outside of Delucia near the lake

          This event arena is a standard guarded protection zone
        • Created two safe zones for players participating in the event.
          These zones will allow event participants to watch the event while protected from outside interference.
        • Adjusted an extensive array of spell mechanics to ensure that the match areas are free of outside interference.
        • Crafted the tournament system to clear each player of all status effects, beneficial spells allowing for even combat matches.
        • Performed extensive testing on the events to manage event disconnections, arena idling and anything else we could think of.
        • Designed the events to be full use allowing for any item you bring, to be used.
          However these items are consumed during the events. Durability of items will also be affected during the event.
        • Designed a custom sudden death system that can be toggled via a timer.
        • Events can be triggered manually by the staff directly or via our automated scheduling system

      • Capture the Flag Game
        • Created and initial system of capture the flag games
        • Integrated the events into our automated event system.
        • Created a system of automatic team balancing that uses the most recently joined players to balance teams.
        • Designed the events to be full use allowing for any item you bring, to be used.
          However these items are consumed during the events. Durability of items will also be affected during the event.
        • Setup a Ruined City 2 Team CTF game (not actual flag locations)

        • Setup a 4 Team Dungeon CTF Game (not actual flag locations)

      • Skills
        • Resolved a problem where the invisibility timer was causing someone to become unhidden if they had hidden using the skill after casting invisibility on themselves
          Or if someone had cast it on you.
      • Mobiles / Vendors
        • Updated the name display of humans and hirelings to [hired] rather than [tamed]
        • Minor adjustment to account for turning in BOD's with players who have no skill in the related trade.
          All players can now turn in Bulk Order Deeds regardless of their skill levels.
        • Keep in mind Bulk Order Deeds are stealable items, so make sure to keep them safe.
        • Made a few minor changes to vendor buy/sell lists to resolve quirky errors.
      • PlayerMobiles
        • Resolved a humorous problem that resulted in ghosts dying hidden, and being hidden as a ghost.
          Resulting in a ghost being unseen until they are revealed via normal mechanisms.

        • Resolved a problem that was allowing ghosts to block recall and gate spots of players.
        • Added a temporary command to allow players to toggle their Karma Locking until we have time to design the shrine mantra system.
          You can trigger this command by typing [karmatoggle ingame.
      • Spells
        • Extensive update to a variety of spells to support event zone restrictions.
        • Updated the Gate Travel and Recall spells to consume mana and reagents should the target location be blocked.
      • Boats
        • Resolved an odd problem where tillers were repeating voice responses multiple times in certain situations. [Related Thread]

      • Guilds
        • Adjusted the functionality of the guild stone teleporter to allow guild stones to be moved in the same house.
      • Character Creation
        • Enabled the system allowing players to select the starting town when creating a custom character.
      • Durability Checks
        • Updated the base chance for an item to receive a hit to durability (hits) from the existing value of 25% to 10%.
          So if a hit is directed at your hands, there is a 1 in 10 chance that your armor will be damaged in that area.
          If the damaging weapon is a mace, 2 points of damage would be applied, vs 1 point for all other damage.

    Looks Great, Especially the 2 team Ruined city ctf. Thanks for the work into the server.

    I updated the post with additional information covering this.

    Initial Tournament signups will be handled at the Britian Chamber of Virtues.

    However we have plans to add 1-2 additional sign up locations to allow for player accessibility.

    We will be finishing construction of the event resources over the weekend.

    Awesome on the guild stone moving and all other work put in here. Alas, I will be out and about in RL for the CTF launch, but I'll be around for others, certainly.

    i created a new character today and picked Skara Brae as my starting town,
    but the system sent me to Vesper! ... not sure how many others are not working right!
