Yes, it does. It has the exact same abilities like a bought suit from a NPC blacksmith. Just additionally newbified. EDIT: Additional boni would be great though!

I'd guess maybe 6 or 7. I have two, but this is the only one I'll sell. I'm definitely keeping the last one for myself.
I have one set too, but not departing with it. I think they have become a bit more common with the choise you get from the deed. But still, it's practically not available on the market. Except for Dals very cheap complete set.
