News from the Town Crier Alert! A shipwrecked sailor has washed up on the shores of Trinsic telling a strange tale! Before he succumbed to his injuries he told a harrying tale of marauding pirates They are reportedly digging for something on Bald Island and have setup a base of operations southwest of Trinsic deep in the jungles. Seafaring players are advised to travel with extreme caution. Brave adventurers arrived just as the pirates were digging up the treasure, after a fierce battle the pirates were beaten back. However in the thick of the battle a dastardly rouge made off with the treasure. While the pirates were defeated, they clearly intend to fight over their new bases of operation. Sailors should be ever so watchful in these areas.
I always miss these kind of events (mostly because of my irregular and small bursts of play time). Just curious, how are these announced? Town crier, IRC, or? Kudos to the staff dedication though, not only have the Halloween events been going on, but this was thrown in the mix as well? Above and beyond = UOR staff.
