PK'd in Hythloth due to LOS exploit/bug

    Just died in Hythloth due to this

    John Galt is who killed me, didn't even try to chase through, so he knew about it and abused it. RIP dyed runebook

    There should be a LOS check there, I don't care what you say.

    That room has been that way since OSI. It is a very well known part of the dungeon.

    I agree, this has been this way forever. I don't really see the urgency in fixing it, either.

    You can also teleport thorough the walls too, instead of running around them and getting mindblasted to death. Hythloth has a few quirky areas and this is just one of them, I'd argue that this room was purposefully designed this way.

    kind of a lame mechanics, but it's fine. grats on the kill. things like this should be in a guide somewhere so that people are aware of bugged areas

    Possible to fix, but its been like that forever and you'll run into the Nostalgia factor with a lot of people.

    As far as a fix, server-side they could put in LoS blocking items that would be invisible to us on the client-side.

    I don't think its worth doing as its been like that forever and is just part of the aspects of that dungeon.

    I'd say there's about 1,000 things more important than this on the list.

    It's not broken, it's just another mystery of the dungeon, like the teleporting hallway. Tis a silly place. :)
