They are but marks drawn on the map. Names with warnings written below. Dangers lurking around every corner or down long dark corridors. The ever incessant urge to delve the depths of these places is unstoppable. It may be the desire for great riches or fame or just to say"I've been there and done that." Whatever the reason, we are drawn to take the dangerous trek into the unknown and dark regions of lore and woe. We risk all to make the journey into the depths seeking some rarity that will make the journey worthwhile. Such is the state of the minds of the brave and sometimes very foolish of this realm. I count myself in the second category. By no means do I consider myself as brave. I hate pain and do not wish to be hit upon - afterall, I am a mage and above all a woman. But make no mistake, I love to see these ancient places of wonder and woe, and I will not be driven away so easily should I come upon something that blocks my way. Many have made the mistake of challenging my powers and have given up. And as you can see, I am hardly ever away from the aid of a friend or he too me. These places must be seen in this way - with friends. For to see the wonder of the realm by oneself is quite less exhilarating. To walk through this realm alone is a waste of time. I for one do not live here to cause pain and suffering on those I see, to take that which they have fought bravely to acquire in some cowardly and sneaking way.
