I have done as much testing as I possibly can.. If you log a large amount of hours on a throwaway character, and then delete them.. He no longer shows in your [wallet view. I am hoping this doesn't mean that this time is wasted and will affect plat rewards. Maybe not a bug that can be fixed... but something to be wary of, if you are trying to get the full 10.
This is correct, the rewards are calculated based on the gametime of each character on your account and some other metrics. Deleting a character essentially blanks these metrics for the current month. However If you wait till after the end of the month to delete the character it will audit your accounts correctly.
