Wow! I like C. I wouldn't mind having one of them. For bone containers, I've seen them go for anywhere from 150k to 300k. I'm currently on a mission to collect all 5 of them. I have 3 so far.
Malas was the lands created for the Age of Shadows expansion. It is likely the land is accessible by staff and someone somehow got there, and then marked a rune. I am fairly certain none of the holiday/instance events are located there, so this was most likely attained through a bug or staff help?? Should fetch a large sum from all those collectors.
@QuickZ which bone container is that? Use a house deco tool "Details" on it and tell me the container number. i wanna see if it's one I have or one I still need to collect.
Also, if it's blue because it's marked in Malas, and you mark over it in Felucca, does it go back to regular rune color?
I will look into the origination of the Runes, I suspect they were the result of one of our former staff manually adjusted the map of a standard rune. Possibly for the purpose of a an event. (This is also why they are no longer staff). However it is a valid item for the player to sell. It should not have been created, but it was passed into player ownership via an event. Another similar item (not staff created) is the indecipherable map that was created by making a map and then deleting your character during the map creation process. Note: After a bit of research and reviewing every command a staff member has used over the last 5 years. These runes were never modified by the staff. What most likely happened is players double clicked Iron maiden uniques that were given out as an anniversary event reward. There was some code attached to those items that the staff was not aware of which teleported you to Malas when double clicked. We made the runes by clicking the iron maiden in one of the level 7 tmaps and getting teleported to Malas (Abyss maybe?) Telamon fished us out but Von marked a few runes beforehand. They don't work of course. Punt and I still have a rune each. I think maybe Smellytuna and Von had the last two, but I could be mistaken. My guess is Von lost them in a house drop or sold/gave them to someone. EDIT: although Azoth's picture shows there being 3 runes total, I think there may actually be a fourth that is inside a runebook.
