Hi all, I created a mini site a while back here: http://www.uor-prices.co.uk/ It uses the same formula that !pc does for weapon prices on #uortrade. Remember that these are estimates, you might easily get more or a lot less than this. You can mess about with weapon possibilities and see how that affects price. You can also add the weapons you've price checked into a list, which should hopefully help comparison and auction creation. One of the biggest problems I saw when people were looking up weapons was typos and sometimes a little bit of spam, so this site helps get around that. Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas to make it better. Thanks, Soear Just a note that I've hosted it using a free domain and free hosting service, which is a good price... but I get absolutely no web stats back from it. I'm treating the year-long free period as a trial/pilot. So please me know if you're getting any regular use out of it I'll think about longer term solutions.
I think this is great for folks to get rough ideas on wep prices. For sure these numbers could vary drastically depending on the market, but cool nonetheless. I know I'll be using it from time to time.
I would suggest maybe next to the tactics modifier, put the word also... like +15 (eminently) and so on. I remember the word before i do the actual number
Soear, I think it is a great tool for “rough” pricing on typical weapons. I think it is more difficult to th to price out slyers and such. For example, you have a +10 force lat of repond at 204-272k, when in the open market something like that might go for 1mill+.
It currently has the little blue question mark to show a reminder, but your right that it would be more useful to have it in the dropdown text (and no reason why not!). Exactly, this is always going to be a rough pricing tool, I'd suggest people use it as a tool to set better start bids/manage their expectations. Things like repond katana's break the mold a bit. I actually added some multipliers for high spec silver katana/kryss, so I'll look to see if I can do the same here. Thanks!
