On the shard I know we have a multiplier that gives us 2x damage if shooting a monster. I.E. if you shoot an ebolt at another player that does 30 damage and then shoot an ebolt at a monster with similar resist that ebolt will now do 60 damage. For some reason when it comes to humanoid monsters (Brigrands/Elves/Evil Mage Lords/Executioners/Escort NPCs/Etc.) The spells do not scale up to do the 2x damage amount. I'm just wondering if this is intended or if it is an oversight where they were forgotten since they have the human mob style.
