Hello. I'm creating my first char, I want to use it to hunt and get basic stuff as gold and some crafting materials. I designed my character as follows: Str: 100 | Dex: 100 | Int: 25 Mace fighting: 100 Tactics: 100 Healing: 100 Anatomy: 100 Resisting Spells: 100 Musicianship: 100 Provocation: 100 The problem is that without magery I can't recall, so I want your opinion about how much magery use to recall using runebooks and what skills to sacrify to can recall. I also tough to drop musicianship and provocation to add magery and meditation but it looks very PvP oriented and I don't know if it could be able to kill big monsters.
30 Magery 90 Tactics 80 Healing 30 Magery gives you a 85% chance to recall with scroll / scroll in runebook. Plenty good enough. Can get up to 115 tactics with a +25 weapon. 80 Healing allows you to rez other players, cure poison and with 100 anatomy you'll bandage fine. With barding no mobs should be hitting you. So,.. You shouldn't need to heal very often. I've been trying to push this template lately. I run Lumberjacking in place of Resist & Peace in place of Provo. Can solo a Balron. --- Stat wise, take your pick. 90 80 55 90 90 45 100 100 25 Greater potions are fairly common on ren,. so you could easily hit 100 dex with potion.
Thanks Baler, great answer. I was thinking on reducing healing to 70 to get 30 points of magery, but what you say about resurrection justifies the decrease for tactics. Where can I find the +25 weapons that you're talking about?
Magical melee weapons can have a tactics bonus.. Prefix Tactics Accurate +5 Surpassingly Accurate +10 (<- with 90 tactics this would put you at 100 tactics.) Eminently Accurate +15 Exceedingly Accurate +20 Supremely Accurate +25
Hi Azeri I would recommend magery over resisting spell, as it offers much more utility. Also my personal feeling is that resisting spell isnt very useful. High-end mobs can still kill u in seconds if u are not careful, even with 100 resist
