Okay, I'm going to give this another go, but with a different approach this time. If you are interested in learning to PvP, or just hone in on your existing skills, then feel free to join in. This time training will be open to any and everyone. You can use what you learn in any way you would like, and attendance is only up to you. Due to conflicting schedules the first time I tried this, I will make this round a set in stone schedule so if you can make it, great, if not, that's okay too. The schedule is subject to change if need be, but will initially look as such: Monday: Group combat training - 8:00 PM CST Tuesday: 1v1 combat training - 8:00 PM CST I will more than likely alternate the training conducted on those two days. If you are interested in joining there are only two things you need to do: 1. If you don't have skype you need to download it and create a username, then send me a FORUM PM with your username. 2. If you're able to attend then send me an IRC pm sometime before we get started each training day so I can add you to the Skype call.
Glad to see you open it up to more people, sucks I still won't be able to attend, I'd love to get in on one if these sessions and learn some new stuff
Damn, I was hoping I would be able to join in on these but it doesn't fit my schedule at all. Well, good luck to all.
I'll definitely look out for those. Not as helpful as being able to experience it first hand but I kind of expected it due to my abnormal work schedule. I do want to thank Mandevu for even taking the time to do something like this. It will definitely be a big help to any who attend.
I will offer other times as we go along depending on my schedule. I should also be able to do "pop" sessions where I send a short notice of available training.
I'm game to get involved and help in whatever way I can. I also hate Skype but I have it and I'm happy to either learn or be a target for trainees.
Test center was the decided location last we had talked about it - seemed like the easiest & most convenient way to do this all around. That way anyone who wants to join & tag along can do so regardless of their character status, skills etc on the live server & whether or not they even have a finished template of the build(s) they actually want to learn & play with or the funds to be able to just recklessly blow through regs & not think twice about it.
Awesome, thanks. I saw that in the OP, but I wasn't sure if that was still the plan. I'm going to try to make it. I won't have a pvp character ready on live server for a while, so thanks very much to Mandevu and whoever else is helping out.
