If I buy a pet that is already bonded... does it stay bonded after the transfer? Also if it stays bonded and lets say I only have 3 bonded pet spots and I already have 3 bonded pets does it add a bond slot?
no it will be unbonded after the transfer. you will always need to do the zookeeper quest to get another bond slot! good luck

If a pet has already been bonded when it's transfer, you only need to feed it regular meat and wait 24 hours and feed again to rebound to you. (As long as you've got a free bonding slot)
This is correct. You do not need to feed it any more pec meat if the previous owner had it bonded to them. Once you get it transferred to you and you feed it one raw rib the 24 hour timer starts. After 24 hours you feed it another raw rib and assuming you have a bond spot open it will bond to you right then and there.
Lets say I did the zookeeper quest twice and currently I have 3 bonded pets.. if I transfer one of my pets to another player, will that free up a spot so I can bond a new pet? Thanks BG
Correct, it will free up a bond slot on that character. Also, when you transfer that bonded pet to another character, the pet will no longer be bonded but it can be again without using pec meat. Just needs to be stabled for 24 hours and fed regular meat and it will bond.
