Well it happened... I ran out of lockdowns in the temple.

I have had a suggestion regarding one room that can remain locked. Thus freeing up lockdowns if I were to unlock the items not worth much gold.

My question is, are there any items that will decay inside a house if not locked down? Just wanting a heads up before I go about and start clearing up lockdowns.

Your biggest problem will be if you have a room where things are arranged with a decor tool... if you drop anything near them they will lose their position... and a pet could break them.

Gideon's answer ought to cover your question, but I wanted to add that platinum lockdown expansions = goodness.

    Worth every coin!

If it holds value, lock that thing down!

Seeing how good some folks are at sneaking in houses, it's worth locking every thing possible down in my opinion.

Deco will be on hold for a bit pending some platinum gains. Regret selling that 100 now lol!

    Common z heights:

1: fish steak and most objects
    4: wooden chest
    6: small table
    9: marble pedestal
    16: player
    20: house floor

That is, if you want a player to be able to walk under something, you need to stack 16 fish steaks (or more), and then put the item on top of that and lock it down.
