Hello. I've recently started playing here and I downloaded the UOR client package that is used in the guide for getting started here.

Everything runs perfectly except that my game window is stuck at 800x600. I'm able to change the resolution with the in game options, but the razor option to increase it does not work.
    I'm using razor v1.0.13.

    Any ideas?

Did you check the box that says "Force game size" ?

If so, you still need to close the client and razor completely before the new game size setting will take effect.

Here is an awesome guide by Upgrayedd on how to do it:

I can't get the "Force Game Size" to work, can anyone help me?

Here are the steps I've taken:

    1. Close all clients
    2. Open Razor and login to the character that I want to change the resolution for
    3. Verify in Razor their profile is active
    4. Verify the settings in UO are 800x600 per Upgrayedd's guide
    5. Check the "Force Game Size" within Razor and set it to 924x700
    6. Log out of UO
    7. Log back into UO, no resolution changes
    8. Uncheck "Force Game Size" within Razor
    9. Check "Force Game Size" within Razor
    10. Log out of UO
    11. Completely close UO client
    12. Launch Razor
    13. Login to UO and select appropriate character, no resolution changes

Note: I even tried setting the resolution in Razor to 1180x900 like Upgrayedd suggested in his guide, and the resolution will not change.

    Thank you for your time!

I go to Razor, force game size to whatever, then open UO Options and click Apply.

Done and done. I've never had to close/relaunch client to apply the change.

I actually forgot to mention that I tried that too.

But just to be on the safe side, I just did it again.

    1. uncheck Force
    2. check Force
    3. Click Apply in UO settings
    4. Logout
    5. Login, no resolution change

    That didn't work either.

But....let me ask this question. I keep all my UO windows windowed (not full screen), does that make a difference in being able to do this?

Don't think so, I play full screen at work but not on the laptop at home and it works in both instances.

I'm having the exact same issue. Tried exact same things...
Maybe it's a windows 7 thing? possibly a crossfire problem? (I have crossfire enabled)
although I dont see how cross fire would effect this,s tranger things have happened
