Regular Fur from An Easter Bunny

Wasn't sure if this was suppose to go in the event forum or the bugs, so I did both. Received a Regular Fur from An Easter Bunny when skinning it.

I can also confirm in all the bunnies that I have killed and skinned, I only got regular hides/fur. Unsure if this is meant to be this way or not however, just added more information.

From what I heard (from the big guy himself) that this is not a bug perse - there is a chance that a regular fur will drop and a chance that a hued fur will drop (which means there is a very small chance you might get one of each)

Considering where that picture was taken, I'm surprised you didn't get a lump of coal.

I got a regular fur last year from a fluffy or bunny too, but guessed that it's the way how it was supposed to be. It would definitely be a nice detail if they gave you the rare event fur in future events. Same with other event monsters (e.g. reindeer, turkeys).

We go everywhere, literally. When the Fluffys update, just the kill tally lol.

We have gotten 2 furs now. So either a bug, or sketchy RNG.

PS: The "Easter Bunny" monster profile makes no mention of a "fur" but surely points out the pelt with 1 out of 200 "ON CARVE"

I imagine that if it's like other holiday drops, the rabbit pelt will go directly into your pack, and regular furs will be found when you skin them.

Edit: never mind, I see the 'on carve' bit now. Weird!

If I am not mistaken this is correct, there has always been a chance when skinning an animal of getting a fur instead of hides its a rare chance but i have gotten them from skinning regular animals before im pretty sure and the same on OSI as well I believe.

This also happened to me the other night during the Brit invasion.

I wish one of the higher ups could actually confirm this. I don't think the RNG is that bad....

I haven't even gotten a fur!! Just normal leather.

Just to add to this, I have killed 100+ bunnies and skinned every single one. (I know it is not a guaranteed pelt in 100. Im just posting the number for context). I have gotten two regular furs from skinning and no pelts.
