The Great Council will be undergoing a somewhat dramatic change in an effort to get back to some of the core goals that were established upon its inception. The Great Council is no longer going to recruit new players in an effort to assist them. Fact is, the Realm doesn't need two guilds that do this, and there is an agreement with our friend and ally Lord Krake that new folk are more than welcome to join Project Sanctuary as long as they abide by the rules set forth by PS. Instead, the Great Council is going to focus on events and public works for the community. Truth be told, the huge amount of time and resources it takes to help newer players (many of which end up quitting the game not much later) is too much and is too draining. Project Sanctuary has a larger core group of members dedicated to helping newer folk, and they are the best equipped for that! The resources spent on players who then leave with them forever are instead going to be focused towards running events and creating public areas of interest such as the King's Library and the Britain Herald. The Knights of the Great Council remains unchanged and will continue on its present course. It is also open to any PS members looking to join a RP PvP stone.
