Unfortunately work seems to be heating up and I don't have the time I wish I did for playing UO any longer. Most of what I have is tied up in Bulk Order Deeds, so rather than give it all away to just one person, I thought of an idea for a system. When I am able to play, I will log in and travel to a smith shop somewhere in the land. If you find me with your blacksmith, you may say "order status", and I will give you a random bulk order deed from my collection. I will then note the time in an Excel file to ensure you do not request a BOD from me for at least another 6 hours. Hopefully this allows my collection to be spread to others in a fair manner - it will continue until I have no BODs left. And, lest you think this is too simple, I have purchased a couple dozen Name Change Deeds for each of my smiths, and will change their names regularly to ensure they cannot be easily tracked and found. Good luck!
If I spent more time thinking about what to write (or if I had a shred of natural humor in me), I would have come up with something a bit more tongue-in-cheek and silly. Though I am amused that people think it believable that I'd pretend to be an NPC all day
Dang it Dal.... Now nobody is going to believe that I deed'ed every home in Paws and moved to live on test. Thanks a lot Sincerely, a foolmage
Jupiter, my sincerest apologies if you had planned to post a prank like that, as it is 43 times funnier than my jest (I did the math, it checks out). Philthie, if you are available on Sunday at 9pm EST, you may well be able to obtain some of my ancestor's belongings at (shamless plug) THIS EVENT!
I believed the subject and the first sentence. Then I realized it was nonsense as you would have obviously given your stuff to me. Clearly.
Damn you got me Dalavar! I bet you got the idea of being a NPC blacksmith from me. You just need a flute to play when I give you the BOD.
Apparently Barracoon's flute makes the BOD sound. Though it's a bit out of my price range at the moment, at the way he's dying these days it may soon be in reach!
