The Royal Britannia Summoner's Sprints When? Thursday, February 6th at 10:00pm (est) Where? The Royal Britannia Race Track What is the Summoner's Sprint? Two man teams will compete to see who will be the first to cross the finish line. One team member runs laps while the other may cast spells from the infield. Mounts will not be permitted within the confines of the track. Permitted spellcasting will be limited to fields spells and buffs. Potions will not be permited. All sprinters will be snooped. Multiple races will be run and individual racers may change teammates between races. Each team will pay a 2k entry fee per race. 1st place will recieve 60% of the collected fees, 2nd place 25% and third 15%. Rules are subject to change at the organizers' whim.
Bumping for shard awareness. Not only do I plan on participating in this event, but I also plan on helping in its organization if the good folk of Stormhold will have me! I'd also like to donate 25k to the pool of winnings, and possibly some undisclosed items .

Appologies to all the casters I couldn't keep track of. If you were a winning caster or partner please let us know so you can get your just credit! It was just a bit much to keep track of for one person. If you'd like to volunteer to help officiate the next sprint please let me know, as well. As this was a bit of a trial run I'd like to thank all the runners, casters, spectators and contributors. I'd also love to hear any feedback and ideas you have for future summoner's sprints. I think next time we'll keep energy field out of the 5 and 6 team sprints as it's too easy to block the whole track. It also seemed like everyone had a great time running on foot but I'd like to know how everyone feels about the use of potions, buffs/debuffs, and the stools.
