Hello, For sale is a sandstone patio right up against a graveyard fence line. This cemetery is located north of serenity lake. Attached are pictures of its location. Halloween started on the 21st last year, so you have about two weeks to prepare your platforms/firing locations, archers etc for farming the coming evil Halloween beasts. http://uorforum.com/threads/happy-halloween-2018-renaissance-event-megathread.36727/ The home has been left open if you want to take a look inside. SB 500K Holding off on bids until we can verify the spawn table for Halloween. Plat at 6k 72/48 Thanks for looking
Nice spot but that's a deceased player memorial graveyard and doesn't spawn mobs. Edit - I may be incorrect in this post, apologies if so.
Yes, this is a kind of real cemetery and the clatter of a sword or the noise of crafting is inappropriate here. Just thoughts...
eek, I hate to say it, but a house there is an eyesore. That beautiful GY should be untouched mobs or no mobs. just my opinion.
I think you found a way to place a house that is not supposed to be placed there... It seems other house types were blocked because of the camp spawn but that sandstone works! As for the spawn, in the past 4 years of Halloweens I have witnessed no undead have ever come from that Graveyard.
If at any point you would accept 200k for this spot, I will offer that. I would like to use it as a deco project as a caretaker house. Not trying to insult with offer and I would encourage you to make some money if it ends up being a Halloween spawn. Either way. No rush in a decision. Buddy was able to place a house nearby that will be great for a deco project. Good luck with auction.
This is the third time now that this spot has come up for auction, by a different player each time. I’ll say what I’ve said every time.... There is no reason to own a house here, and they always end up dropping. I’ve placed several houses here thinking I’d make it work as a roleplay spot or something - but again, there is no reason to have a house here. There are better locations nearby along water, near holiday camp spawns, etc. The most you’ll see here is a mongbat, orc, or the random white wyrm left over from an idoc. The last time this sold was for around 140k, the seller verbally assaulted me in discord, and the house collapsed 3 weeks later.
I don’t normally post my opinions on other people’s trade threads ... but ... A location designed to be an in-game memorial for real-life loss, should be respected, guarded and free of houses. P.S. - I don’t think Alvien did anything wrong, I just think this location needs to be re-zoned and preserved.
