Saving a Macro file?

Ok, So I am copying a new Marco into the file and It won't have as a .macro file, only a text file. What is this newbie doing wrong?

I even tried to open an existing file and I can't get into it?

Had same issue I opened a existing file with open with (text file) pasted the macro I wanted in there and saved

Windows 7 or windows 10 you can search for folder options in your start menu search.

With Windows 10 notepad you can "save as" then select "all files" as the type right below the filename box. But I highly recommend downloading notepad++ if you are going to do much manual macro making...

Easiest way I have found is just create and name the macro in Razor. It will populate a blank .macro file with that name in your macro folder so you can just open, paste, save the macro file. Once the file is saved if you haven't restarted razor, you will have to click in the macro window(in razor), Right Click -> Refresh(or reload, cant remember)

And to open existing files Right Click -> Open With -> Notepad (or any other .txt program)

+1 on that notepad++ idea. It's awesome. Notepad on steroids.
