Hello all! Krake here, of Project Sanctuary. We are going to be hosting a Scavenger Hunt! Everyone is invited to come participate. P'S has been digging through our vault and getting some items ready for prizes. As of now, P'S members who are not on the council are invited to come and participate as well. The date for this is Saturday August 13th The time for this is 1pm EST We will be bumping this thread often during the week leading up to the event. What this is: You will join #PSEvent in IRC and be given a set of three clues, each more detailed than that last. You will be searching Sosaria for ME. When you find me, yell out my name (Krake!). The first three players to find me will be given points. At the end of 10 rounds, the players with the most points will win prizes. My council will be helping keep track of who find me first, and all decisions will be based on my/their journal, and are final. There will be no locations in T2A, or in dungeons. Everything will be in Sosaria overworld, including town zones. The current prize pool is as follows, but might be modified. 1st place: 35 plat and a custom trophy. As well as this package = 3 pec meat, one Earth Shatter axe, 25 MiBs, 25 gargoyle pick axes , 25 level 1 t-maps, 15 level 4 t-maps, a large boat, one AmiB, one leather dye tub, one pair of studded blacksmithing gloves of mining, an AmiB Chest ( choice of a few colors), set of Pheonix Armor. 2nd place: 25 plat and a custom trophy, As well as this package = 2 pec meat, one Earth Shatter axe, 25 MiBs, 25 gargoyle pick axes , 25 level 1 t-maps, 10 level 4 t-maps, a medium boat, one AmiB, one leather dye tub, oone pair of studded blacksmithing gloves of mining, an AmiB Chest ( choice of a few colors, Clothing Bless Deed. 3rd place: 15 plat and a custom trophy, As well as this package = 1 pec meat ,25 MiBs, 25 gargoyle pick axes , 25 level 1 t-maps, 5 level 4 t-maps, a small boat, one AmiB, one leather dye tub, one pair of studded blacksmithing gloves of mining, an AmiB Chest ( choice of a few colors, black dye tub. Thanks Kiryana! But PS didnt invent this (not sure if that is what you meant). UOR has had scavenger hunts for a few years now, PS is just running this one for everyone!
Bump!! This event, with its 60 plat and custom trophy giveway prizes, is happening soon! Get pumped. We will be bumping this thread at least once a week. Good advice for this event: Have a rune library you know well and have a run to it on you! Have enough regs/scrolls to cause multiple times. Have some sort of working knowledge of Sosaria and its lore. Dont freak out ! See you all this Saturday.
