I want to buy this, however, on average I can buy plat at 8k. And at that rate I can get the carpet from the vendor for 2.4. Owellz free bump atleast.
Let me break it down for people who don't see the opportunity here. Place a SB and possibly win at 2.8m. Go buy 280 Plat for 8k = 2.24m You pay 2.24 not 2.8! Wow! Amazing. You save 160k! From what you believe costs you 2.4m at vendor.
Or you buy from the guy selling at 7k and get a better deal. I don't see the greed here, get over yourself
Sorry if I came off a bit grumpy SneakyT - woke up to 4 pm's of people telling me they want the carpet but don't want to pay for it. Thanks for the lesson in Marketing, you probably also learn that any good marketing effort needs some market research. On March 19th, (one month ago) you may remember seeing me post the below - showing why I believe plat shouldn't be valued at low numbers. The ratio or value of plat to gold then was 10,487,31 gold per every plat. As of today, here is how the numbers looks. So in the last 30 days, we've had more gold injected into the economy while plat has left the economy. There are now 11885.53 gold coins per 1 plat. So the counter argument here is supply and demand.. which I think is the point of me pricing my auction the way I did. I think the real greed here are the people trying to devalue plat and take advantage of people willing to believe them. I honestly think if you "play" my auction right you save big.
Yea I typically don't go on a shit stirring streak. I wanted to be funny with the shark tank dialog because my wife apparently has every season recorded and it playing constantly in the background. I actually think plat should be account bound personally. Or tied to your email. It would then allowed to stack on all three accounts but not traded. The server will be rewarded the same way (players online) however more people would be trying to earn gold instead of trading plat. Items could still be purchased with plat and sold. But this is probably a topic for another thread. Gl on sale man.
