With the steward sitting outside the castle. The common folk gathered around to hear any new word or piping, but the steward sat resolute and silent. Most likely tending the monumental task of cataloging and memorizing each record of the King's Library. He only paused a moment to summon the guards to take care of Vlar's pesky cat. As if drawn to interrupt a perfectly serene setting, the cat had meandered overtly and deliberately up to Alex's canine companion and began spitting and hissing and attacking. But the sound that the cat spewed when the guard's ax came down upon it, was a sound to wake the dead.... Hearing the commotion from Paws, Jupiter rushed to the scene. "What was that dreadful sound, it was loud enough to wake the..." Jupiter's words trailed off as they quickly transformed from syllabic rhythm into a perfectly fine idea "We must go to the graveyard at once to raise the dead! We cannot let the sound of the cat fester in the ground long, lest we have an army of ill tempered bones!" ******************************************************************************** They rushed to the eerily vacant cemetery. They made quick work to make sure the bones of the valiant knights remained at peace and undisturbed by the wretched sound of the dying cat. Unfortunately, one of the tomes had opened and some of the bones were missing. It was decided that they would have to find what ever angry bones had awoken and put them back to sleep. (ok, maybe it wasn't just the cat that woke up the bones. It could have had something to do with us running around and shouting and casting earthquakes...) Suddenly the most angry revenant that Jupiter had ever seen appeared. With glowing eyes it focused on the new Lady Knight, and with malice of millennia it rushed towards here. Jupiter summoned a quick dervish to distract the angry bones, and they set him back to rest, to sleep no longer to break the slience.
Running around, shouting, casting earthquakes and STOMPING ON THE ROOFTOPS! He was really angry... It was fun!
