Here are two houses next to each other about a screen away from the Yew gate. I was using one for storing things and the other as a rune library. It's a very quiet spot with minimal spawn and minimal neighbor activity. There are only trees and woods to the north and east and I have never actually seen any of the neighbors to the south and west. Easy walk to the Yew gate for your non-magery characters.
