Over the past few weeks I've been lucky enough to get many spawns under my belt. I've had thorough experience with spawning on OSI but none during this era. I'm seeing problems with the early levels of spawn and the difficulty of some "lesser" spawn. I don't think Imps should be destroying people as much as they currently do. I think I see the most problems with the Semidar spawn and the 1st level with Imps just Flamestriking everyone and everything, this is a little overtuned imo. In general when you get tons of magic casters clustering in one area it's going to be madness, especially if they can cast FS at earlier levels. I'm all for level 3 & 4 mobs casting FS and making it difficult for the group but at level 1, it's overkill. Also, fix slayers plzkthxbai. It's difficult enough competing with tamers at spawns as a dexxer, the only thing that gives me the advantage are my slayers, some of them are almost impossible to find (if at all , lol fey) and some of them don't even work on the mobs they are intended to work for.
Slayers: I am new on the server. Account creation was on friday 5 days ago. I started killing skeletons on britain cementary and went on to despise, shame and covetous. In Summary i killed monsters for all together about 120-150k pure gold loot. I bought bandages and reags to skill up my characters healing, magic resist and magery and buying better weapons from player vendors. I found one slayer! Troll slaugtherer - you know its the absolutly worst one If i look around in the player vendors at yew/britain gate no slayers are sold there... only silver. Why? Anything is wrong with the system. I would like to see more slayers - and if only crappy "durable of nothing" or "ruin"... but slayers are slayers means double dmg... sure i would not hunt a blood elemental with my dexxer without a slayer nor would i fight ogre lords with my dexxer. I read that dexxer should be buffed with slayer weapons: But where are the slayers? Without a slayer i better go hunting with a 60 magery mage and cast blade spirits :-/
That's exactly right. You don't find many slayers because the player base hordes them, and for good reason.. they are really rare. I'm not saying that you should get a nice repond weapon after killing lower tier monsters like skeletons, but killing Lich Lords...for...freaking...ever... should yield something that's useful. I, still, have never seen a repond weapon drop on an LL or Dark One. So if there is no economy about slayers other than silver... where should a new player start off "the slayer game"? I just would like to have a good chance on lets say 1-2hours killing any elementals to get a - very low - deamon slayer. So i could go kill deamons for a chance to get maybe a little better elemental slayer. With little better elemental slayer i go back to kill elementals...and so on. I dont need that big might or force slayer... i just want ANY slayer. I think the low slayers should be more common -> just slayer without stats or ruin. If its so damn rare i would not take that fight with the PK with my lets say deamon slayer in bag -> i would flee as fast i can. More common lower level slayers means also more pvp (and less running)
I think the LL drop is broken, isn't it? And silver is most common because it is the "default" slayer. That is, if a monster has a specified slayer drop type, they will drop it. If not, silver. Many of the most-killed monsters (Elder Gazer for example) have no opposition group, so they drop silvers.
