Sunday Night Harrower

Order of the Skull will be spawning the TRUE harrower on the 18th of this month at 10pm EST.

Anyone can attend - just be in IRC for updates

What I recommend:
- extra reg bags in the bank(if you die)
- 15 stamina potions

Here is the energy bolt macro I use for anyone new at this that is interested in going. Keep reactive armor up on all your characters and you may live! As soon as the true harrower pops I set my absolute target and press play, and then tab over to my alts and do the same. Then you just need to watch your characters and if (when) they get teleported to the harrower, chug a red pot and get the hell out of there ASAP. I would only run this macro on alt's with evaluating intelligence.

Also just like Musician said, keep backup bags in the bank or on your present alternate characters. I will usually have 4 bags on each of the 3 characters I bring, each bag consisting of 75 of each reg and 15 stamina pots. Then if (when) your character dies, do not even attempt to go loot yourself, just run to your other characters, get rezzed and take one of their bags and press play on the macro again.

so dexers cant participate?

Dexxers can help pick up gold at the end, fight off thieves (make sure you know how to identify thieves who have recently stolen), or generally provide humor if they get too close and get sucked in by the harrower and 2 shotted.

You could also perform Mobolin's trademark move "the shield toss" to help taunt the harrower while the dragons chew off his branches.

Yep new players should definatly read the guide and try to make it. Generally (Every public harrower I have attended) there are so many people there, combined with it being so darn profitable, that the PKs come on their blues and attempt no shenanigans. It's just better business to collect the 60 plat then to get killed by an angry mob.

Dexxers can indeed participate.

During the harrower stage, you can punch the boss with melee weapons. You are at no greater risk of being pulled than any of the mages/tamers.

During the tentacle stage, you will need an orcish bow to help.

During the final boss, you can again punch the boss with melee weapons. You are at no greater risk of beeing pulled than any of the mages/tamers.

The dwarfs will be represented!
