Good evening to one and all!! Champions of the realm the Stormhold Tournament of Champions is going to begin Sunday! May 18th!! Test your might and your wit in duels that challenge even the most gifted of duelist!! In the first of a series of competitions leading up to the Grand Tournament 10 weeks from the 18th!! Players will square off in single elimination combat! Before each fight players will step up to the cup of dice. Each player will roll the dice and will receive a handicap that they will have to fight through the match. Duels will be held every 2 weeks at 9:00pm EST Potions: 5 GHeal 10 GCure 10 Refresh 1 greater poison potion will be allowed for poisoners (potion limits are per duel) GM Weapons and Equipment Each fight will be 1 v 1 Who can compete? Anyone! Any template! No tamed pets please! Spectators are welcome and encouraged! Where: Stormhold Fortress Time: 9:00 pm EST Entry Fee: 5,000 Purse: 275,000 Plus entry fees of fighters Split: 1st 100k, 2nd 60k, 3 rd 40k 4th 25k 5,6,7th 15k each! This weeks Handicaps are as follows with dice rolls 12: Receive a force weapon of skill (There are no cleavers, daggers or crooks etc) 11: You will start the fight with a dire wolf attacking you in addition to your opponent (you may kill the wolf during the course of the fight) 10: You will be poisoned at the beginning of the fight and every 20 seconds there after 9: You will be cursed throughout the fight 8: You will not be allowed to wear any armor 7: 2 random spectators will be given 10 explosion potions to throw at you! 6: No refresh potions for the fight 5: No black pearl may be used for the fight / if a warrior clumsy the whole fight 4: No sulfurous ash may be used for the fight / if a warrior weakness for the whole fight 3: You will start the fight with a giant spider attacking you in addition to your opponent (you may kill the wolf during the course of the fight) 2: You will surrender your gm weapon for a fine weapon from Moonglow's very own Second Defense Armory!!
Going to do a test run to ensure smoothness for 5/18 the actual handicaps will be a part of this and a small 50k purse

All spells are allowed pre poisoned weapons are not allowed but if your character happens to be a legit poisoner yes but you will have to poison during the fight and you are only allowed one greater poison potion per fight.
So you can use gheal/cure potions, but not explosion pots? Also, can you restock between fights and/or loot your opponent?
No looting of opponents will be allowed you may restock potions between fights. You may not stock explosions at this time.... but each encounter leading up to the grand tournament 10 weeks rules and regulations will change. From locations, to handicaps, to equipment allowed.

I tried to log into his stream but it was down. I don't think he had it running since he was not in the tourny.
Something to consider - I'd like to compete again, however I will be out of town this weekend (Memorial Day weekend). Can we take these types of holidays into consideration when scheduling? What if a player is unable to make the date and is in the bracket?
