They had been men once. Flesh and bone. Blood and sinew. But no longer. Once, they had walked the bloody decks of their pirate galleys. But no longer. Once, they had been the terror of the high seas. But no longer. Now, they are but tormented and lost souls cursed by powerful magic to remain locked in the void of the abyss. Recently, the land has been invaded by pirates who seem to be involved with the occult and may be trying to raise their blackened brethren from the depths of the void. Only the naturalists and any other brave souls will stand in their way. On Sunday 5/16 at 1 pm PST (4 pm EST) we will be meeting at the Cove moongate Drunken Stag Tavern. It will be dangerous and some may not survive so plan accordingly. All are welcome without mares/dragons. I will be on foot. Thanks.
Song Bird woke up early. It was beautiful spring morning and she figured she could enjoy the sunrise on the coast before starting the grueling minutia of her daily chores. She played her lute and sang her songs, and gazed out into the cold, blue, vastness of the ocean. She was about to call it a morning when something glistened on the horizon. What could that be? It was moving at a much faster clip then the Vesper fisherman tend to move. Soon a second spot appeared. And a third. They grew bigger. Their pitch black sails became evident. The Jolly Roger grinning from the main cloth sail affixed to the mast. Pirates! She shrunk down instinctively. She was far enough away that there was no way they could see her. Even with the best valorite spyglass, she was out of range. And yet, something made her shudder and attempt to hide. Out of nowhere a great roaring thunder shook the ground beneath her. It also appeared that smoke rose from the ships. The ships appeared to be ablaze. Thunder again... No. The ships were not on fire... And there was not a cloud in the sky, so it could not be thunder. No.... it was far far worse then a little rain storm. That was a dragon's guttural roar followed by its inferno flamebreath. PIRATE TAMERS! Song Bird ran inland...
Took some time but I got around to making a combined video of the last two naturalist events. Thanks for hosting these @Vincent Blackshadow
