Upon hearing about the Guard Corps' suspicion of the Evil Mage's activity in Shame, Lena - a Defender of True Brittanians - took it upon herself to investigate. It was a treacherous journey to the pits of Shame, confronted by elementals, scorpions and known murderers, Lena arrived to the dreaded mage tower. The evil mages wasted no time and were quick to cast spells crippling spells like Poison, Flamestrike and Mindblast. All in an effort to slay and probably maim the True Brittanian. Alas for the mages, Lena is skilled in the arts of magery, healing and mace fighting. All these skills gave Lena a distinct advantage against pure mages who could only defend themselves by hand. After encountering at least 19 evil mage lords and two close calls with death, Lena succeeded in her quest to rid the two mage towers of their evil occupants. Alas, none of the mages had level 8 scrolls which Lena was hoping to sell to the mages guild. However, she discovered that the mages had burned, ripped and ruined whole libraries in their towers. This led Lena to conclude that the evil mage lords want to eradicate the knowledge of certain magery from Sosaria by getting rid of all written records. With the evil mage lords defeated, the mages guild can ensure that their knowledge can be transferred to apprentice mages who want to learn the arts of the 8th level.
Well done Lena, the Brittanians should hold their heads high with you in their ranks! You have done a realm a great service in investing what these mages were up too!
