I would lose resist, you're a peacemaker, you're not meant to be getting hit ya know? If you see a Red, recall out. I don't think having 100 points invested in a skill is worth it if you're only going to be relying on that skill in 1/100 dungeon scenarios where a PK recalls in within 1 tile off you and gets that first blast in. 99.9% of the time you're going to see the name and hit that escape macro before they're on you. Additionally with the numerous free resist events held periodically on this shard it's not like regaining it would be a massive ball ache. I went from 0 to GM resist, afk, in just over 20 hours - FOR FREE. Because this place is AMAZING!
I'm going to trust you guys and drop resist. I still have to decide between magery and discord. Discord sounds sweet with peacemaking, but my only reservation is peacemaking sometimes fails you and if you're on a casting mob, it could end badly. I played a provo before and I really like how less difficult peace is, it's just not as reliable imo.
Make sure you've got magic reflect on, then at least if you fail that first blast is going back at them. Gives you an extra second or too move around a corner and spam that peace macro before getting back up in their faces.
Yeah, another +1 for magery. GM is my preference after doing the meditation split math. It just doesn't pan out imo. Stick and move, Cheapsuit. Always clear what's "behind you" so you have running room when necessary. With magery a clutch "invis" on rare occasion can change an otherwise shiet outcome. Sheepdog makes a great point too... magic reflect up helps with those fails... then again, I always hunted things below the 100 barding difficulty so odds were 100% success. There's mobs out there that a peacemaker chews through in mass. Sure, a tamer could do the same but we're talking about little to no investment here... right?
I dont have magery on my LJ peacemaker, and it really sucks. I am thinking on getting a new peace warrior with magery, or just go full bard.
Its just too hard to move around, recall with loot, travel places. You have to rely in another char opening gates for you as 0 magery recalls fail too much.
I think I agree with this. or, 46.1 magery and 53.9 poisoning. Those extra poison ticks just adds to the dmg per second imo. But I agree with being able to recall with no possibility of failure is a must. Pk's aren't gonna sit around while you use other chars to gate you lol. Pk's are running in fast with para precast. It's painful to lose an hour worth of farming to a pk, so we must be prepared and on the lookout.

Well, that command is "SetLast target" instead of Last target. To be honest just record yourself doing it, and then right click on the absolute target and change it to last target. Or if you are macroing this for afk leveling, just target yourself.
Necro, quality thread. I'm trying to fit LJ and ~30 magery so I can recall off a scroll. music, peace, sword, anat, tactic, heal, Lumberjack = 700 No room for that 30 magery I don't think it's possible but how could I do this? My brain says maybe 80 anatomy, 90 healing, 30 magery? Or maybe 80 healing, 90 anatomy (for more dmg)?
Just FYI.. You dont need any magery to recall off a scroll. I have 100 lumber with 0 magery.. recall just fine with my runebook and scrolls(with some fizzles of course, but youll always get it).
I have fallen deep into the peacemaking well. Single account I recommend a scroll recall build: 85 Anatomy 100 Healing 80 Lumberjacking 35 Magery 100 Music 100 Peace 100 Swords 100 Tactics At 35 magery I believe you cannot fail with a scroll. I use runebook macro myself. But F all that running around shit. I take all my life advice from DMX. STOP DROP SHUT UM DOWN OPEN UP SHOP!!!!!! No paying taxes!!! SMOKE CRACK!!!!! SOOOOO MUCH CRACK!!! Might as well just have a 100 magery peacemaker with whatever melee skill you prefer so you can gate around. If you want to rake in the cash I advise running 2 lumberjack peacemakers and a 100 magery peacemaker. Your goal is to set up shop at a fast spawn in a small area. Fire LL, or shame/hythloth single gazer, you get he idea. With silver instruments you can camp the decite LL spawn(got to bounce if dark one spawns). For spawn camping you want to have last target range check set to 1 and use target closest random so you can peace everything around you. When gating in send the guy you want to have agro first and have your 100 magery char go last so he is last to take agro on death. Deaths occur mainly from bad luck on spells cast or broken instruments. I mainly use gold or vanq weapons. What to expect? Movies will be watched. Chores around the house might get done. Lots of IDing items. EVEN MORE LOOTING. Gating to bank to unload. My best day is I think 14 hours uninterrupted up time and 600k. I use my LJ peacemakers when mining golems with gargoyle picks or colored shovels. Again just gate them around. No more chasing golems around the cave. STAND THERE GOLEM UNTIL YOU DROP THAT ORE!!!! At home they just sit there killing golems as fast as I can mine them up. Go over and loot. Off to the next mine house we go.
