Hail all and welcome! Today I finally made the decision to move out of my villa outside the Wind entrance. This is the largest home that can fit in this alcove and arguably one of the most unique homes on the entire server. While I enjoyed it for a time I have consolidated my activities to my home in the land of OoO, north of Minoc. As such, it is time for me to move along and provide an opportunity for others who may enjoy this more. I simply was not using the site and I'm not interested in keeping properties for show. Anyway, enough story time, you know the property and you better start grinding if you want a shot at this. Auction Details: (If you don't like them, tough shit, it's my property) Minimum Bid: 1,000,000 gold pieces Reserve Price: 3,000,000 gold pieces (If you don't understand reserves, this simply means I RESERVE the right to NOT sell if bidding does not reach 3m. If it does, whoever the high bidder is WILL get the property. If it doesn't, they may or may not, depending on my mood and opinion of them). Minimum Bid Increments: 10,000 (if you can't bump by at least 10k, go find another auction, this one is not suited for you. Any bid increases under 10k, will be ignored) There are TWO buy-out options for this property ONLY: 500 Platinum pieces or an ethereal horse Auction Timing: Bidding is final 48 hours after the most recent bid. Platinum is valued at 6,000g per piece. Holiday Coin is valued at 4,000g per piece. 1109 Mask Dye is valued at 1m 1235 Mask Dye is valued at 1m 1157 Mask Dye is valued at 2m Good luck everyone and happy bidding. Hail UO:Renaissance!!!
I want this, if you want to work out a payment plan with me, I'll bid 2 mil (prob can do a 200-300k) down payment
While I would consider payment plans and such, from the right parties, I'm not sure how fair that is to everyone involved. Anyone else have a thought on the matter? I know a few others will likely jump at the chance if payments are an option.
that makes sense. I guess I can do the 3 mil min if I have to, though I'm not looking forward to the grind slavery lol. But you know I've wanted that house since beta, it was one of the spots I was camping during the rush anyhow, it's not a big deal, lemme know
Since I am the only other bidder at this point, guess I qualify as "others involved" As the auction states, its your property, do what you want with it. No hard feelings here. I always have Despise Valley to retire to anyways, had ZERO desire to pay 3 mil for the place Good luck
I bid 1.1M, straight cash homey. I'm not going to get to 2M or 3M, so if you're accepting payment plans, Jack has me covered.
(If you don't like them, tough shit, it's my property) I find this funny from someone who raged over how bad Russell's auction terms sucked.
Raged? Hardly, but I certainly made a point of it. I find it funny that some no-name scrub is bumping my auction just to remind people what proper auction formats look like. Welcome to Renaissance.
In regards to this little virtual world, yes, I actually am someone of some significance. I don't beat my chest about it all the time, but if you don't know who I am, you just haven't been here very long or paid much attention. Stranger on the other hand....well, no one knows who you are because like %50 of the population (guessing), you likely picked a new nickname when you got here. I have no qualms with my rep and will always go by the same name, without denial, for good or ill.
Stranger dates back on other-shard long before you ever played there. He uses the same name, and everyone who played then knows exactly who he is. Just thought you might be curious, not that any of this is relevant to the sale of this glorious property.
I thought it sounded vaguely familiar but well, with a name as vague as Stranger, I supposed it could be anyone. Thanks for the enlightenment.
