I guess the huge thing for me would that there would be some way to make the useless slayers in the game valuable, like all the sub slayers that nobody ever wants or uses. What are some changes you hope the new lands bring?
1) A PvM zone where no tamers are allowed. (except @Keza because his play style is super cool) 2) a very limited amount of space that is protected by guard zone 3) Some sort of siege/ castle assault game type 4) Ghosts that are not in war mode do not see any players or creatures. 5) A "do it yourself" CTF arena.
I dunno sometimes ideas pop in my head. Something along the lines of spirit speak making summons more powerful/less dispellable, or with active use banishing all ghosts without a corpse to shrines. Functional/deco uses for cooking. I don't know really, but add some flavor to skills noone uses.
I must have missed it... is this the 2020 FoV expansion? @Holden that's a cool idea to work on "Something along the lines of spirit speak... with active use banishing all ghosts without a corpse to shrines." @bart simpson
Make it in trammel and let every monster drop 1 yard of a random neon hue. Custom housing plots too, if housing ever gets a topic there.
@One that reminds me of my idea for herding which would be massively unpopular(not sure I even think it's a good idea) and never happen, but set max followers to 3, allow up to 8 as your skill in herding increases.
No cool down on forensic skill, tracks them forever until you kill them. Or maybe it gives you their house location. See if that curves a little of the psychopathic gank murdering. Lol How about Oak Bows at 85 Skill+ and do more damage than regular bows. On OSI they have more kinds of wood so you could make Oak Bows, Yew Wood Bows, Frostwood Bows etc. That did different damage to monster types.
@Holden Slayer shields and Arms Lore assisted Fletching/Carpentry sound worth developing for UOR too but @Valmour , if we're talking about a land expansion with FoV, then @Jill Stihl the island of fire resurfacing to give us a test of the old Principles wouldn't necessarily create any new player housing space... in fact, unless it were a sort of one-off test of how to be a virtuous homeowner I would be surprised to find anything related to player housing in the new lands.
As I recover from Gideonaggedon I find myself thinking of a rare piece of Silver Tablet that I once knew.
is there a thread somewhere describing whatever this expansion is supposed to be? can't think of a single reason we'd need new land, other than to populate with sexy unicorns.
