First off, it'll never be a hard requirement regardless of anything. I understand how people are about their trammie outfits. That having been said, what are your thoughts about having guild colors and what colors would you like to see? It would need to be an accessible color as I don't want anyone ever left out if they want to sport them. ie. No bod colors. http://uor.lightshade.net/outfit_creator/create_outfit2.php
Naked is the best guild uniform. Everyone can afford it and no one has an excuse to not be wearing guild colors then.
I think it's a neat concept when you couple it with ranks and such, and it projects a certain strength in numbers appeal when you see a bunch of players in a guild dressed in similar colors or outfits.
The first guild I was in had a combination of tan and green, but that seems a bit earthy for knights... Perhaps a bright red or blue? Maybe a maroon color? Some virtuous knights from Chessy used to wear a nice maroon.
Couldn't agree with you more! I am not wearing some sick crap yellow, bumble bee wanna be colors! Dude, do you even UO? I like the idea of a blue/white or blue/greyish. Sounds good for when we're all out doing something together. It's going to be very hard to get some of us out of the trammie gears. ie. Valrick!!
First off, I'm glad the "do you even uo" trend is still strong. It's just too good! I'd live for us to get to where we can semi-tram outfits! Like that not-so-snow white bod cloth that Lib used to wear. I could get behind that My vote would be three colors. That way most everyone has a color they could enjoy. Or maybe a certain clothing item? Full aprons Jester hats Wide-brim hats Long pants Shoes Those all say we're here to party
You would need a main color. That way you can see who is who. If you get into too many colors, it defeats that. Also, BoD colors aren't good. Puts off new players and encourages looting.
I'd say we need to pick one main color. Then pick a secondary color. That's just my .02. If you get into too many colors you run the risk of not being obviously on the same team. DG does it good with the obvious blue everywhere.
