may or may not have already been mentioned, but when tinkering with a difference ore other than iron and the item says it will take the color of the ore, it does not. Tried multiple times with no success, also tinkering items will not retain names as markers as far as I can see.
Tinkered items are not supposed to retain makers mark, as far as I know. As far as using colored ore, this absolutely works -- I have enough valorite and verite candelabras around my houses to prove it. Be sure you're selecting the button in the lower-left corner of the crafting gump, where it says 'Iron'. If youi're not choosing the metal you wish to use, it will not be used. That said, not all items will retain ore color -- but any that say they will, will work as long as you have selected the ore color in the gump.
Corruption is correct. I don't think bladed items and other such things will retain the color but lanterns and the like certainly do.
I am curious but, What is people's opinion on making things like shovels and pick axes more durable with the different ore types as well as coloring them?
I was thinking Sturdy to be equal to agapite with verite and valorite being highest tiers. This is not including the custom ingots.
Yeah, I think no more than like 200 hits on valorite? Maybe with some variance on crafting success rate for higher types of ingot?
If we had a different success rate depending on ingots, wouldn't we be required to do the same for every other craft then? Exceptional Barbed Studded is costly enough.
