First breed was the short maned buckskin, which served it's master with great loyalty. During battle, to divert the enemy's attention to itself, this brave horse would buck it's rider off. Possibly believing it was avoiding substantial injury to it's Master.

Accomplishments attributed to Sir Mannard** of Trinsic. Renowned equestrian hobbyist and alchemist.

The long maned buckskin: Same loyalty and bucking tendency as the short maned.

The sorrel: A gentle horse; which became quite popular with the citizens of Sosaria, despite it's being a failed experiment to eliminate the bucking trait.

The Gray: Same characteristics as it's predecessors.
While under commission by Lord Musalletras of the Paladin Guard to develop a method to cleanse blood stains from plate armor without weakening the armor itself. Sir Mannard acknowledges while processing his formula, a portion of the compound spattered into a barrel of horse fodder. This feed was administrated to a pregnant mare, subsequently leading to the birth of the first foal of this unique and sought after color.

Horse: Enjoys fruits, some vegetables, and non-processed wheat.
Can be trained in the skills of wrestling, tactics, and resisting magic spells.

Faction Horse: Intrigued with the colorization of the gray horse, Sir Mannard began experimenting with his compound and pregnant mares. For three years these experiments had less than desirable outcomes. At the off handed suggestion of his cleaning maid, Sir Mannard added two less drops of the new formula. Success! Not only were the off spring mentally stable, appearance wise equestrienne, but of superior strength, intelligence and stamma. They had high dexterity and were able to physically endure great injury.

He was amazed to learn they could be trained in wrestling, tactics, resisting magic spells and meditation. They thrived eating the same diet as the normal horse

Using only the purest of ingredients as a base for dyes, Sir Mannard managed, by putting only small portions into the mare's food supply to developed dependable strains of foals and colors
Once word spread of these incredible new strain of horses, Sir Mannard receive a lucrative, if exclusive, contract with the faction warriors of the land.
The cleaning maid received a extra day of free time once a forthright in appreciation of her valuable suggestion.

** Lore concerning Sir Mannard of Trinsic is unique to author's imagination.

    Hope you enjoyed.
