To celebrate the 2nd phase of the Renaissance Rares spawning system, we will be turning on the Town Rare spawners at 10pm cst on Wednesday. This will be the first of 3 planned mini events in which these are enabled. Dungeons will be enabled on Sunday (11/11/12) at 9pm cst Towns will be enabled on Wednesday (11/14/12) at 9pm cst The overworld spawns will be enabled on Saturday (11/17/12) at 12 noon cst. How to Play Enterprising players are invited to search the towns of Britannia high and low to find fortune and fame. And once an item is found players can check back to find new items as time passes. Players can search the guarded zones of the towns listed below. There will be two types of items to find, the spawning type and with this event, several unique items. The unique birth items will not respawn once found. Each phase of this event will have a few unique rares that spawn in hidden locations. The rest of the items can be found hidden throughout the towns of Britannia and will respawn in 1-10 days after being found, in the same general area. Some items will spawn in sets, such as the bottles, where a random bottles will spawn every cycle. some of these items are in a box and are easy to steal but some are just in the open, is being in the thiefs guild the way to steal these other items that are just in plain view/? how do I join the thiefs guild?
You do not need to be in the thieves guild to pick up rares. The rares that are out in the open you just pick up...unless they are static decorations and not actual spawned rares.
You don't have to be in the thief guild, but GM stealing is necessary if you're wanting to be able to get everything. Check out this guide for spawning rares.
so far on the list I have found bloody bandages in cove and yew. dried herbs in moonglow and brit. fruit basket in yew. once I saw the brush in skara brea could not get it. working on lock picking for them chest treasures.
Then you didn’t see the brush. What you saw was the brush that is there as static deco. When the spawning brush is there you can pick it up.
