    Hello all,

Hi I am a newcomer, and am looking to relive my UO experiences of more than a decade ago! This freeshard is highly recommended :). Anyways, I am getting mixed results when trying to determine the nature of player interaction for UOR, so I figured Id just make a post and ask:

What are the fundamentals concerning PVP/PKing? While I dont seek to PK, I do want a world where that is always a potential threat, as it makes the game more realistic and boundless. Having to consent to PVP is not my thing, though I typically just mind my own business ;).

Is there a Trammel & Felucca split? From what I am reading, it seems like no, but I am not sure.

If there is Open PVP / Open PK'ing, is there a bounty system and does it differ from UO (in the T2A era)?

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to Renaissance!

If you aren't in guards zone or an instance(Amib) you can be freely attacked.

    There is no trammel

There is a bounty system and I beleive it's like it has always been.

I usually dryloot (even useless stuff for me), kill horse and do not ress - just to be as bad as I can as a PK (otherwise I wouldn't be killing players, right?).
But you earned my respect with this line. I may not be such a moron if I kill you (just remind me of this post, will you?).

3 months ago, when I joined this shard, I almost left it.
Too few PvP, too many PvM and trammelite players saying lots of bullshit and not leaving guarded areas for a good fight.

Fortunately now me and my friend are finding lots of Solo/Mass PvP fights near Bucs and X-Roads.
And we have now 2 GuildWars (nobody was accepting it before...)

That's a good turning point for the shard. I hope more veteran players (or at least brave ones, like yourself) join this shard.

    Welcome!

Dach Q - Hong Kong Posse has formally sent you a war invite, accept it if you are brave enough.

I've had a run-in or two with Milla Q. My lumberjacker is constantly losing packhorses and boards to him.... Makes for an interesting time chopping trees.

That's okay, though. I'm hoping once I get him trained up I'll be able to return the favor. :)

Right on... I hate carebear games (which is why I came back to UO since virtually all games are carebearified), but Ive long outgrown the need for PKing. I had the second highest murder count on the Chessy shard when I quit, I have a bit of experience in that department. I will likely make a PVP toon after I relearn all the ropes. Its been a week and Im basically 3xGM and have 62K in the bank, and I wasnt even trying that hard lol.

I imagine I would be somewhat more poetic, but the sentiments would be much the same, I assure you.
