On the 31st Oct I will be wandering the lands looking for pumpkins on house steps. One of the houses with a pumpkin will be selected to have a prize left next to it. Pumpkins are 11gp from NPC farmers. Make Brittania Halloweeny Again! (Don't get overly excited, it wont be of huge value, but I promise it will be worth substantially more than the 11gp pumpkin!)
Thank you, I was wondering to get one of those. My front step is getting pretty festive with all the candies and the Halloween bag.
Late on Halloween I set out on my pumpkin hunt. I knew it would be a long journey so Alan fetched his long neglected in the stable horse - A short distance South of Trinsic I encountered my first spooky house! - And it wasn't long before the first spotting of pumpkins - A kind householder to the East must've heard of my tiring quest, he left me an ample serving of pumpkin soup - I rode for quite a while before my next encounter, in the swamp South of Destard - On the approach to Skara Brae I discovered a crime! Somebody had clearly stolen this unlucky fellow's pumpkins - Had a nice passing chat with a friendly wisp in his well tended garden - It had been a long ride, so I used the fruits of the forest to craft a basic shelter for some rest - Onward! Unfortunately the Liches do not appear to celebrate Halloween, and I wasn't going to press the issue - Something terrible had happened on the journey to Yew, time to make haste - Someone near Yew had got the wrong memo - Far North of Yew another pumpkin house! - And another - But this guy really lost his head over the intrusion on his space - Twin pumpkins, aww - Somebody has a very sweet tooth - North of the Yew Crypts I think I discovered the candy smuggler's hideout - By Justice Lake there was a spooky keep - And while in the area it seemed fitting to give brief thought to those who are now absent from events - After exploring the rest of the Northern Territories I returned magically to Trinsic, where I grabbed a quick pic of the neighbour - Another sweet toothed player in Trinsic swamp - Bring me the strength to continue my journey -
I know they go up earlier every year but this is too much! - What outing is complete without a visit to the (Brit) beach? - A spooky villa on the shore of Lord Blackthorne's lake - On to the Bloody Plains and soon spot a well lit target - Unfortunately when I tried to traverse the desert I became the target - I have no idea what he is doing in Brittania already - A nice eye catching rare gem / crime against humanity haunting the High Steppes - A feast of pumpkins on the remote North coast - Another poor fellow who must've fallen victim to the dastardly pumpkin thief - More twins were discovered a little North of Cove - Nice spot to carve your pumpkin outside Cove - And a good showing from the Drunken Stag at Cove Moongate - At a remote house East of Cove they are growing some sort of mutant pumpkin - Stopped by Radio Brittania hoping to grab a bumper sticker for my horse but there was nobody home - The folk North of Minoc are odd - And I don't know what the hell I discovered East of the town - To the East of Vesper, and a spooky castle with one of those new fangled cannon things. They will never catch on - The grumpy ettin of Windemere Woods didn't want me to draw a pic of his log cabin but I tried my best - And to the islands! Moonglow was bereft of spookyness, but I may have figured out why - Nujelm was also fruitless! - And Maginicia just wasn't feeling the magic of Halloween - At that I was many hours in, and it was very late so I'm afraid I rode for home. My apologies if I missed your house!
And the prize winner is, as chosen by my kids because I couldn't decide - Congratulations. Please get in touch to claim your prize bag - With thanks to everyone who helped to make Britannia spooky this year!
Great job everyone, thank you Jill for making the holiday deco that much more fun. I love that you went by my house. You might be my first visitor. I think the patio house with the candies organized by color into rainbow columns deserves an honorable mention.
