From the desk of the Lord Herald of Stormhold: It has recently come to my attention and that of my fellow Citizens of Stormhold that our beloved and long-standing councilman, Godric Greycliff, has been behaving oddly. A string of uncharacteristically illogical behavior and chaotic actions have been noted on the part of Lord Greycliff. It is our belief that such a matter involving one amongst our leadership could gravely endanger our community. The Stormhold Militia have conducted an investigation of the matter and found some quite disturbing evidence: Several evenings past Lord Godric was observed drinking with his fellows at the Silver Stag Brewery. Many prominent members of the community were said to be in attendance that evening including Godric's co-council Robin Redding, Gene Kelly, Jupiter the Grey, Sir Orrin and Athena of Paws, Noen and several True Knights of Britannia. Freemaiden Athena is attested to have given Lord Godric a gift and this seems to be the beginning of our councilman's odd behavior. An annonymous witness was quoted as saying: Other witnesses have claimed the involvement of one Franz Pfniffel. Franz Pfniffel is known to use many aliases and might be found in the company of a bard named Sherelle, fellow Freemaiden to Athena. (Suspicious, I know!) After these events Councilman Greycliff was observed wandering the streets of Stormhold aimlessly at all hours, muttering strange musings under his breath, and looking generally out of sorts. Captain Phaedrus of the Stormhold Militia questioned Councilman Greycliff yesterday on an unrelated matter regarding unlicensed petting zoos within city limits and the councilman's alleged acceptance of a bribe that same eve. Captain Phaedrus was unable to complete his investigation before he was driven off by an aggressive Freemaiden Athena and her "frightful beast army." Captain Phaedrus was too upset to make an official report at the time and, given his dark elven nature, was unavailable for comment during daylight hours today. Councilman Greycliff has not been seen since the altercation involving Captain Phaedrus and the Freemaiden Athena. Strange sounds have been heard emanating from the Greycliff residence and it is believed that Lord Godric has barricaded himself inside. Evidence suggests that Corinna, the wandering healer, was the last person to set eyes on Councilman Greycliff. Corinna is quoted as saying: Strange things are afoot in Stormhold, indeed. The Heralds and Militia have exhausted all avenues of investigation into these matters. It is my belief, as Lord Herald of Stormhold, that we must reach outside our community for help. I shall send word to the Village of Paws, the Eternal Realm, the Kingdom of OoO, Grimoire, Wispfelt and even the cities of the arch-villain, Lord British. By the virtues, some hero must come forth to help our dear councilman! [Yeah, this is an event. Figure it out!]

This would not be the first time one of our noble villagers have been cast as pawns in the schemes of evil! We shall offer the assistance of the Sapphire Maiden as well, for perhaps he waters, or her knowledge can help us procure an elixir that an restore Godric to his senses.
From the desk of the Lord Herald of Stormhold: Godric Greycliff and his squire, Roscoe Redding, were recently spotted in Serpent's Hold in the company of Lord Huzke Truthseekr, Jupiter the Grey and numerous unidentified Freemaidens. Reports suggest that Councilman Greycliff seemed in high spirits as he departed by sea with the group. He has not been seen in Stormhold since, however, and seems to have vacated the Greycliff residence with much haste as his journal was dropped unceremoniously on his doorstep. Roscoe Redding was brought in for questioning by the Stormhold Militia this morning and has refused to cooperate with the investigation.
