So after going to the web to seek out answers for the many questions I had about how things worked during UO:R, I stumbled upon these old notes off of UO stratics and UOguide. I understand some of these mechanics may be slightly different here due to a few different reasons but I thought these would be worth putting out there for people to read. I also know that even during the UO:R era some of these initial mechanics implemented might have been changed/tweaked. Most of this information is probably known by the majority of players here but hopefully this will give clarification on certain topics if someone needs it. These are just a few of the articles that caught my eye, but I'm sure there is a ton of other useful information out there. Just to clarify on this one aspect, this was only added to give players who were murders before the faction system existed a chance to join factions. Since you had to pay for your account on OSI, demanding players delete characters or purchase another account to participate in factions was unreasonable. Since faction membership was available when the Renaissance server started this would not apply to us. Secondly as of the time of this post, Renaissance has 12 players currently with 5 or more longer term murder counts out of 2900 characters. There are only 4 players with over 5 short term counts. Thanks for the information Markos
