Template wise, what do you like to have for an almost all-around go to. I'd imagine it depends on what your main area of income focus is whether its crafting, using tamers, a type or resource gathering.

I like to use a char that is obviously easily mobile, can use in the field, and has a defensive skill or two for for evading pks and thieves.

Currently I go with magery, meditation, hiding, music, provo, eval int and discordance.

Most orcs are melee fighters but my main has Sword, Tact, Anat, Healing, Hiding, LJ, and Resist.

Don't really have a "main". Past couple days been mostly playing the MC Hammer build (peace + macing. STOP! Hammer time!). The couple days before that a disco tamer (disco isn't dead!) and the days before that a battle miner
Lord Sky, Pedigar, BlackEye and 2 others like this.

I'm sure most people "main" some form of a tamer, due to the ease they bring to most situations champs, boss killing, plain farming, defending against pks.

I generally use a provo/tamer (ideal for champs) for regular farming, its pretty vulnerable to pks cause no wrestle, resist, or eval. But it sure kills stuff fast and is easy to get around and kill bosses.

My favorite character to play is a Provo/LJ dexxer with no magery and slayer weps. But he is supremely vulnerable to pks in the open world, so I use him far less. Its amazing how fast u can burn through areas like a glass canon with good weps and provo.

If I had to choose one character to play from here on out I’d do a Provo dexxer for the genuine fun they bring.

    Farming: Provo/disco tamers
    IfOnlyOneChar: peace dexxer/dexxer bard hybrid
Most fun char recently: melee mace tamer

My main depends on the activity at hand.

Of late i have been patrolling on my archer/fencer as it forces me to take my time when traveling. just recalling to a place seems too easy.

I have one of these, but I've considered it a "provo tamer with disco" and pretty much only use it as a support character in follow mode with another tamer or 2, or for discoing pets while training. I've always been a bit nervous going out alone for high-end MOBs with this build not having any meditation in case a dragon starts to take damage faster than my vet loop can keep up with. I'm curious what type of PvM you are able to successfully pull off with this build. Balrons? Blood elementals?

And to contribute to the thread my main is: Taming, lore, vet, magery, meditation, resist, tracking. Great for events, but also useful to have resist to be a bit less squishy and tracking can also be used to see if I have a stealther very close. Once tracking is fixed I think this build will be even more fun.

I was thinking of making something like that... but seems like a pain in the ass to get a pack around without gating, and with enough magery to gate semi reliably it seems like other things would be critically lacking.
