Where politicians and petty coats dare not tread Jupiter nearly crumpled the scrip as he finished reading. "Polymorphic spells my grey coat!" Jupiter stuffed his hat on his head and stormed out of the tower of Paws. He knew very well the coinmaster's sacking of Nymeros was a political move to oust a very promising and formidable candidate to replace him. It was a most unpopular view to suggest that evil thrived in the caves and caverns of dragon hame mountains, and for Nymeros to openly claim to have witnessed a true ancient wyrm had sealed the end of his promising career. But Jupiter had seen the dark scales while collecting the black pearls from the dragon droppings in Destard. And he had taken note of the dragons increasingly unruly and agitated behaviors. No less than five times a drake had attempted to have roast wizard's-hat. Jupiter had even witnessed the wounds on Nymeros arm after they had fled. Admittedly, he didn't get a very good look as he had been focusing his magic to maintain a field of protection, but the wounds that he had mended on Nymeros' back were far larger than any dragon's claw he had seen. There was little he could do to restore Nymeros to his position within the bank- he had long ago sworn off meddling in the politics of men. But he could restore Nym's honor by revealing the truth of the danger in Destard. And he knew it would take no less than twenty witnesses. So his course was set to Occlo to rally the support of the adventures at the Albatross.
