So I saw that the noble Cero had called out a bounty on the legendary Orc Muguk. (See this thread: http://uorforum.com/threads/wanted-muguk.23848/) As a master of all forms of combat, who never recalls in the face of danger and meets death flying into the teeth of the foe, I knew I could make a quick 60k. I began my search in the wilds north of Vesper, and suddenly -- What luck! -- I happened upon my quarry! I knew the battle would be fierce, but fortunately I am the most skilled of mages. Though Muguk was a master of weapons, he knew nothing of the arcane arts of the mojoka! I, however, had but to wave my hand and speak the words of power to summon infernal forces from the aethereal realm! Coupled with my own skill as a mage, Muguk was doomed, and his head would soon be mine! And what fortune! Not only did Muguk acknowledge my victory and demand that Cero compensate me, but Telamon was good enough to send me a system message, confirming not only that I had defeated Muguk, but that Cero had best pay me in the event that the guards refused -- for "some" reason -- or else he would be banned... So I went to Vesper where I had first heard of this bounty, and I placed the head in the bank for safekeeping, confirming, once again, that it was the head of Muguk, lest there be any confusion when I went to collect my reward. The name was right there, clear for all to see... And yet when I went to turn in the head to the local guardsman, she made sport of me! She refused to even consider providing me with the bounty I had so rightly earned! This injustice must be addressed! @Cero! Where is my gold? Oh... and to the real @Muguk: Umie begz uu not klomp ee! (Please don't kill me!)
What! What is this....the mighty Muguk bested by a mere jest....er, mage! And the guard not paying! This must be reported at once, we shall have her halbred for this! Bahahahahahahaha!
And how would you know that ? Do you have any experience in that matter?? This seems VERY legit to me. Pay the valiant hero his due!
I do appreciate the support, but @El Horno and I go way back, and I am happy to alleviate his concerns. It turns out that he was correct. There was some editing done, but my purpose was concision rather than deception. I figured that, since it was addressed later in the post, I'd tidy up the first screenshot so that the real @Muguk and I would stand out as we glared at each other before the combat. That said, in the interests of resolving this, I am more than happy to provide the original screenshot, sans edits:
