If there are smith repair deeds, why would there not be tailor repair deeds? I was told they do not exist and don't understand why if a person has a nice set of armor they should be able to buy the tailor repairs just like the smith ones.

This server's settings are not intended to be a replica of Ultima Online's Renaissance "era".

There "should" be repair deeds for tailoring, carpentry, and fletching. There's really no valid reason not to have them.

POF was designed to add hp to an item and you shouldn't be forced to use it to repair weapons and armor.

Sadly, the smiths will probably always best all the other Crafters in this area. Because how could a grandmaster Fletcher ever manage to repair a bow! o_O

The same way a tamer controls a mythical dragon that shoots fire balls out it's mouth, lighting out it's bum and laser beams from it's eyes!... Magic! Ok the laser beams might be stretching it ;)

Yes, there is... to discuss the eras and determine which parts are good, bad, ugly, indifferent.

I haven't smh'd a post this hard in quite some time.

    Dramatic much?

I mean most people are agreeing this was a good thing and people don't understand the reasoning for them not being in, yet Fort powder being in despite it being completely out of era.

Was your comment just meant to be informative? Maybe I took it incorrectly

You can repair leather with Powder of Fortification, Mr. One.

Personally, I'm just going to make a gm tailor to repair my gear, since tailor repair deeds won't be coming any time soon as far as I can tell and I have no care to keep buying PoF.

The only thing that was weird to me is that if there is smith repair deeds then it would stand to reason there would be tailor repair deeds as well. It was just odd to me that I couldn't find them anywhere when I first started. You can repair armor and weapons nice and cheap, but people just said to throw out the armor and buy new. That's all fine and dandy, but what if I find a full invul set of bone or other leather that I really like, and would like to just keep repairing it because it looks nice?

No biggy to me as I will be able to just repair my own soon now, I just found it odd at first which is why I started this thread. ;)
