Tired of gathering cotton to make cloth, I just want to buy it. I think 20k Cloth and 2k leather is enough? From 54.1? Thanks!
Go to Cove or Delucia and kill anything with four legs and you'll have enough leather to last you for the final bit of tailoring. Or you can buy up a bunch of thigh boots at Provisioner NPCs and cut them up for leather. The cloth I can understand, especially if others on the server are farming cotton/sheep. Good luck to you.
Yeah Ren, the leather is not the main goal, but I would avail the opportunity. The proccess of making cloth is just a pain in the ass and my idea was to skip that.
Hey man What I have always done is sit back and wait for some cloth to come up for sale. I have almost never paid more than 1.2-1.3 per cloth and generally closer to 1. Look out on forums/IRC for people selling and be sure to check through player vendors as I have found my best deals on random finds such as that. Good luck
For the first two weeks on this server I macroed on 2 chars while picking cotton on the other. First day I picked like 30,000 cloth in a few hours. Between Delucia and Occlo cotton fields there is enough to pull in about 40-50 pieces of cotton per 12 min rotation if no one else is picking. Each bale gives 6 thread, 5 threads make 1 bolt, 1 bolt is 50 pieces of cloth. Took me about 24,000 cloth to gm tailoring from 32.1.
Other locations to check out: Cove - 10-12 cotton in field Brit farms near beach - 2-4 cotton Moonglow - Flax fields and cotton fields
Cotton is white gold. Most people don't realize that depending on what you farm or if you get pk'd, side tracked, sharing spawn etc.. that farming cotton is usually I higher gold amount per hour if no one else is picking. Put a loom in your home and set a char on loop to spin it. Ignore all other cotton fields, hit them maybe once per hour if you really want to. If you have any competing for cotton just do something else.
