Not sure if I agree with this type of auction. Bad enough that there’s that “gambling” vendor at Yew bank...
Problem with this kind of auction is, that he already knows, what kind of slayers are in the bag, as he knows they are slayers. Selling unidentified magic weapons or wands makes sense, as nobody knows the outcome.
Let's say the cheapest slayer is 10k in theory...there's at least 310k of the worst of the worst in there. But I know there's reponds, silver, elf/dark elf etc etc. I'll price it all out later but I gaurantee it's well over 1 mil
The problem is all you have guaranteed is the minimum level of quality. Part of retail price is an assurance of that quality. With this, due to the gambling nature, the best we can assume is the 310k that you said. However, even that isn't accurate as its obvious there are slayers in here that are completely worthless. Pretty sure I see more then one pickaxe, a club, probably a skinning knife and im sure other completely worthless weapons. I mean good luck with your auction, but I think you S/B is near the high end of what you might have expected ending with in a solid auction.
Lets not act like we cant "identify" wands with out actually identifying them tho. I can fill a bag full of clumsiness and call it unidentified. Im gonna sort em all out here in a few for all you nay sayers with trust issues.
Alright I stand corrected. I still dont know how much I trust this site as far as pricing http://www.uor-prices.co.uk/ But its what I used and I used low end prices for all the pricing. S/B lowered significantly .
Actually it seems fairly reasonable, if you compare what the last +15 kryss of might repond slayer went for this week (125k). If you are interested to sell the kryss separately I would be interested to buy.
I guess I just hold slayers at a higher value. Hence why I priced even the lowest at 10k and you can see many of these are under that 10k. IMO majority of slayers are only priced for iron mans. Which is understandable but things like troll slayers are monsters for pec meat farming.
Yeah, I would agree it seems more reasonable now. I believe I understand where you are coming from Jeebs, holding Slayers at a higher value due to rarity. I think it just boils down to use, you are right, a troll slayer, Silver, and a few others are for sure worth some money because they will be used. However, what value do you put on a weapon that's never gonna be that useful just because its got a .1% drop rate. Like you said maybe some Ironmans and such might use some of these, but nobody is going out with a dexer to farm gold off ophidians. Or a balron slayer of anything but power or vanq, like who is gonna go toe to toe with a mighty creature with a weapon that isn't gonna smash faces. Im not saying it doesn't happen but its just not logical. I know id definitely buy one or two of these but id say more then half of them would never see the light of day and it would be difficult to justify the cost. Ill stop talking now and leave it to bids.
